This 11" x 14" risograph print is an homage to Oakland Chinatown. These are printed on both a bakery box pink and a cream paper at Tiny Splendor in Berkeley, CA.
The design around “Oakland Chinatown” is from the patterned crosswalk at 8th and 9th Streets and Webster and Franklin, created to increase pedestrian safety in the neighborhood. Oakland Chinatown food spots include: C&M Bistro, Cam Anh Deli, Napoleon Super Bakery, Gum Kuo, New Gold Medal Restaurant, Tastee Steam Kitchen, Shooting Star Cafe, Nature Vegetarian, Spices13, Peony Seafood, Shan Dong, Tao Yuen Pastry, Huangcheng Noodle House, Spices Noodle House, Ming's Tasty, Saint Anna, Ruby King Bakery, Yung Kee, Tianjin Dumplings, and Vien Huong.
Risograph printing is a digital screen printing technique, so each print will have slight differences, making each print unique.
