Between Worlds
Between Worlds
An Art Opening with Pancho Pescador, Liliana Herrera & Alex Sodari
Step into the in-between.
"Between Worlds" brings together three Oakland artists whose work lives at the edges — between memory and myth, body and land, protest and prayer.
PANCH0 PESCADOR
Pancho’s work is a visual uprising. Layering street art, surrealism, and ancestral storytelling, his imagery confronts borders (physical, political, spiritual) and reclaims space for immigrant voices. His pieces feel like murals pulled off a city wall and hung still warm — full of rhythm, color, resistance, and tenderness.
LILIANA HERRERA
Liliana moves between mediums the way a song moves through a room. Her work blends folklore, femininity, and ritual care, honoring lineage while imagining future selves. Expect color that hums, textures that feel like fabric and altar, and a quietly powerful emotional core.
ALEX SODARI
Alex documents Oakland like it’s sacred ground. His work channels punk energy, neighborhood memory, and Bay Area survival — bright, raw, beautifully human. There’s an urgency to it: this is our people, our streets, our culture, right now.
Together, these three voices map the thresholds we’re all walking: migration, identity, belonging, transformation. The places we hold, and the places that hold us.
